I Got Sick
Then I Got Better
A one-woman play by writer/actress Jenny Allen about her battle with ovarian
cancer, which is playing to rave reviews and sold out houses at the East 4th
Street Theater, New York City.
The New York Times writes, “‘I Got Sick’ presents
the one-person show as an alternative (for the talented show-off, anyway) to
therapists and support groups: a way to make sense of the inexplicable and to
reconnect with a human world that seems to be receding all the time.” Read
the full review.
Tickets at the door 30 minutes prior to show time.
